Car Parking
Please note that there is no public parking on the recreation ground itself however, there are town car parks located behind both the town library & the town hall. Both of these are only a very short distance from the recreation ground. There is obviously a limited number of spaces therefore;
We highly encourage you to use public transport or to walk to your event.
Please be respectful of residents and any parking restrictions. We ask that you do not use the supermarket car parks, as these are for customers and there are enforced time limits in place.

Public Transport
We highly recommend you use public transport or walk to your event where possible. The nearest bus stop to the Recreation Ground is the 'Carterton Crossroads' stop which is serviced by both the S1 and S2 bus routes. More info is located on the Stagecoach website.

Carterton Connector Bus
The Carterton Connector (345/355) service, linking the North and South of Carterton with the town centre, runs from 9am to 1pm on Tuesdays and Saturdays and 9am to 4.30pm on Thursdays. These routes are supported financially by Carterton Town Council.
Stall Holders & Food outlets
If you are a stallholder or food outlet then the entrance to the recreation ground can be found down 'Brownes Lane' which is located next to the Aldi Supermarket on Alvescot Road.
